A Boulder is found in the Scale Knoll Allotment area of Barningham Moor, County Durham. This upright triangular stone is believed to be the stone mentioned as number 12 in Beckensall & Laurie's publication from 1998, 'Prehistoric Rock Art of County Durham, Swaledale and Wensleydale'. In 2008, it was added to ERA by NADRAP as 'Barningham Moor 7', with Team 5 describing: "The boulder features ten cup-like depressions on its north and east faces, all of which are distinct in size and shape. A long, narrow cup/groove is located at the center. It's difficult to determine if all the features are cups, as some appear similar to worn bullet holes." ERA record: https://archaeologydataservice.ac.uk/era/section/panel/overview.jsf?eraId=806 A 3D model was created from two stereo pairs captured by NADRAP Team 5 in September 2006. The imagery is part of the full NADRAP archive deposited with Historic England.
