Close to a settlement site on Barningham Moor, County Durham, lies a carved rock near the base of How Tallon ridge's scarp. Positioned just outside the probable Romano-British settlement, this carving is mentioned in Beckensall & Laurie’s 1998 publication ‘Prehistoric Rock Art of County Durham, Swaledale and Wensleydale’ as reference number 45. In 2008, NADRAP added it to ERA as 'Barningham Moor 63', describing the site: one large cup sits in a depression on the south side of the stone, surrounded by ten smaller cups of varying sizes.
