Carved found south of Osmaril, formerly known as Osmonds, lies on Barningham Moor in County Durham. This small carved sandstone block is located near the southern end of a cairn primarily constructed from limestone. It sits approximately 100 meters southeast by east of a stone circle and 540 meters directly east of the more prominent How Tallon cairn. Beckensall & Laurie's 1998 publication, "Prehistoric Rock Art of County Durham, Swaledale, and Wensleydale," references this carving as number 81. In 2008, NADRAP added it to ERA as Barningham Moor 60. The team describes: "Eight deep, well-formed cups and at least two grooves." ERA record: https://archaeologydataservice.ac.uk/era/section/panel/overview.jsf?eraId=859. Historic England area scheduling: https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1017441. This model displays the carving in September 2006 (NADRAP imagery) and October 2013. The NADRAP imagery is part of the ERA/NADRAP archive.
