Carving discovered on Barningham Moor, County Durham, within the tranquil Osmaril Gill. The first thing that catches your eye about this stone is its unusual placement, situated near the bottom of a steep-sided gill, amidst a tumble of other stones. Motifs feature a large cup surrounded by 4 rings carved into the area of rock with narrow bedding. Listed as 68 in Beckensall & Laurie's 1998 publication 'Prehistoric Rock Art of County Durham, Swaledale and Wensleydale,' this carving was added to ERA by NADRAP as 'Barningham Moor 58.'
