Ground level, lichen-encrusted stone discovered within a cluster of other carvings situated north of Eel Hill on Barningham Moor in County Durham. Referenced as number 22 in Beckensall & Laurie's 1998 publication 'Prehistoric Rock Art of County Durham, Swaledale and Wensleydale', this carving was added to the ERA by NADRAP as 'Barningham Moor 38' in 2008. The NADRAP team explains: "This sandstone boulder lies at turf level and features five round cups, one cup with a groove extension, and one deep cup/bowl measuring 0.14 meters in diameter and 0.07 meters in depth."
