Barningham Moor 28 (March 2007)
sketchfab
Rock formations with pronounced depressions are located within the Black Hill Gate area on Barningham Moor, County Durham. This rectangular rock, possibly quarried from its natural state, was first documented during initial NADRAP surveys conducted on Barningham Moor in May 2005. Following a subsequent site visit by the team, it was determined that the previously identified carved depressions were more likely to be naturally occurring features. The formation has been added to ERA as 'Barningham Moor 28,' allowing researchers to draw their own conclusions about its origins. A model of the rock was created from five directional images captured by NADRAP Team 5 in March 2007, which are part of the ERA/NADRAP archive.
