Carving discovered on Scale Knoll Allotment area, Barningham Moor, County Durham. This small stone is a component of an irregularly shaped cairn measuring 7 meters in diameter. Referenced as 3a in Beckensall & Laurie's 1998 publication 'Prehistoric Rock Art of County Durham, Swaledale and Wensleydale', it was cataloged by NADRAP as Barningham Moor 23 in 2008. The NADRAP team describes the motifs: "Two cups positioned centrally are connected by a short groove. The largest cup measures approximately 0.10 meters in diameter, is deep and stained pink, with visible erosion within due to different bedding layers." The smaller cups sit to the north-east.
