This is a new component for the remixed part of the project. To complete this piece, please refer to the main page and gather the remaining components. On this foundation, I added three scopes to facilitate Polar alignment. As the base must align with a pole, pointing the tracker at Polaris for the northern hemisphere is essential. The 3 circles enable rough, medium, and fine adjustments. **Netduino Update 6/29/2018** I'm utilizing the ULN2003 in this remix as well, which offers significant cost savings and a more compact design. I discovered an old Netduino 1 instead of any available Arduinos, so I developed a program for it and included it with the project files. This program controls the rotation of the large wheel at 4.7 RPM, which should be accurate for the M5 thread pitch given the 20.3cm distance. Key features in the code include: - Pressing the button briefly reverses the direction. - Holding down the button (2 seconds) accelerates the rotation by a factor of four and activates the blue LED. Releasing the button returns to normal speed.
