This is a dummy action model, only done externally. The Barnard S action is 10mm longer than the Remington 700 SA, which affects recoil lug placement. So, you can print this and take it along to see if the Barnard will fit the chassis you have in mind. Note: The Mk1 design will be improved as I get dimensions. a) External dimensions are accurate as can be 3D drawn based on Barnard's S action CAD PDF (which is missing lots of detail). b) Some dimensions were scaled off the above drawing so could be / will be incorrect. c) Internally and the bolt itself, this is just guesswork since I don't yet have an actual action to measure. I repeat: This is not designed to be machined; it's just a model to save you buying the action and then finding it doesn't fit the chassis you want. PS: If you want a seriously accurate gun (like 1/4 MOA or better), Barnard actions should be on your list. PPS: The action is 207mm long, so I cut it into two pieces to make it fit my Wanhao D6. PPPS: The front part of the action and the recoil lug provided will need altering a bit to suit the actual recoil lug you have bought. Update: Added Jewel trigger and Barnard S hanger parts to assist trail fit. Modded rear body to accept trigger hanger Update 2: I talked to KRG, and the Barnard S action will probably fit but there is a clear clearance issue with the action to rear trigger hanger area. Machining mods are needed in this area. Also, there should be enough metal upfront to stand machining for the extra length of the S. Update 3: 11/2/2018 I talked to Magpul about their new Pro 700 stock, and they told me there is not enough metal to remove to make the S action fit.
