Barn Owl 02 has two versions, barnowl2x and barnowl2y. In barnowl2x, the model is printed big and may have a separation issue on the wing. On the other hand, barnowl2y features reduced polygons with reworked feathers on most of the body and wings, thinner and flatter wings and tail, and a thinner smaller base. The user provides the G-code for replicator, stating that it took over seven hours to print at the current size. Both versions were modeled in Sculptis (99%) and TrueSpace (1%), with the base designed in TrueSpace. The user's wife prefers the original version, while the user thinks 2y is better. The choice is left for the viewer to decide after loading the STL models into their preferred previewing software. No raft is needed, but support should be avoided. The size is up to the user's preference. For barnowl2x, the G-code was for a replicator with single extruder and may require adjustments due to slow printing and potential separation cracks. For barnowl2y, a smaller separation crack on the left wing was observed.
