Barn Door Tracker - merged parts for big printers
thingiverse
I combined the separated parts of Fermunoz's Barn Door Tracker for Astrophotography into two large ones to be printed on bigger printers. I integrated the 28byj-48 stepper remix and the scope remix. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2841827 https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2982009 I also created an enclosure for the electronics, using a lcd keypad shield, an arduino uno and a cheap 28byj-48 stepper (with half steps using accelstepper library), powered by a 2S (7.4V) lipo. display enclosure: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3362327 See files for my arduino sourcecode, including start/stop, switching direction and speed (1/2, 1x, 2x, 3x), a run-timer and displaying lipo voltage. UPDATE: I added a version with a mount for a cheap Omegon LED finder. I also added a separate mount that can be glued to the existing scope remix version. UPDATE: I added a version with two mount holes. My tripod fell over (without camera attached, luckily) and the bottom part broke where the nut was inserted. So I made a rugged version with two mount holes (I have a quick release plate with a long hole). This will require longer screws and two nuts (I use M6x20, 1/4" should work as well). UPDATE: I replaced reddot-versions, removed the invisible holes.
