Barge for tug boat
thingiverse
This is a barge for a tug boat I've designed and printed for my child. Use as fill pattern something that imitates scantlings with a spacing of approx. 20mm (X+Y direction). Maybe a clear coat paint may be needed to get this thing watertight. The length of the barge is variable by the number of center sections glued together. The STL-files are approx. to scale. The barges are modular look-alikes of the Europa type IIa barges. Those ones I've built are 155x500mm in size and use one stern part, two mid-sections and both bow parts. Assembly was done by CA-glue. They were designed to be used in conjuction with this tug boat: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3052022 The body of the barge is designed in such a way, that, as long as it is watertight (an not filled with concrete), it's unsinkable. The bollard may be from here: https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/various/nautical-medium-bollard Unfortunately I've lost track of its origin, so please drop me a comment, so I can refer to the designer who deserves credit.
