I wanted to keep the monorail towers intact, but those flimsy designs on the cardboard just wouldn't cut it, so I came up with these sturdy supports that fit snugly inside the tower. No more wobbly, bendy structures ! The supports don't reach all the way to the top because I wanted them to stay hidden from view. Printing them without rafts worked out perfectly. Once you've got them printed, it's a breeze to wrap the cardboard pieces around them instead of trying to slide them in – that way, you avoid ripping the cardboard altogether.
