Barbie sized Play Set
thingiverse
I recently collaborated with my four-year-old daughter in designing a Play set, which we both thoroughly enjoyed. Our collaborative project features a table, chairs, plates, cups, and a bowl that can be added to over time as she conceives new ideas. All the objects in our creation were printed on a MakerBot Replicator Mini except for the table, which was designed on a PrintrBot Plus. To print these objects, we employed specific settings: Printer Brand: MakerBot Printer: MakerBot Replicator Mini Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Doesn't Matter Notes: Due to our experience with the MakerBot printer, it is suggested that rafts and supports be printed, but for simplicity, we left these options as defaults. Since no overhanging structures were present in our print set, we printed each item on a raft without complications. We printed all objects with .2mm gaps between the parts to accommodate the fittings snugly. As expected, this fit produced friction-tight results using the Replicator and PrintrBot printers. However, your printing experience may require applying glue or sandpaper due to differences in printer settings.
