A car for Barbies or other similar dolls made using a filament box and empty spool made by my daughter. Her Grandpa and Dad helped with the 3d printed parts.
She loves to upcycle, making clothes for her dolls out of toilet paper and balloons, and making houses and other playsets out of cardboard boxes.

Print instructions

Place spool in middle of box vertically and use pencil to outline edges of spool on bottom of box.

Cut hole in bottom along lines.

Find something to use as an axle. For extra upcycling, we used a broken plastic coathanger.

Insert axle through spool and drop spool into hole. Tape axle to bottom of box.

Lift lid to about a 60 degree angle to form a canopy. Tape it into place.

3d print dashboard and steering wheel files.

Place steering wheel on steering column. Insert glove box door into glove box cavity and tape it from the back so it can open and close.

Slide the dashboard into the front of the box. (Optional: Tape some one of your first test prints onto the box for extra decoration.

Insert Barbies.

Have fun!
