I designed a bracket to keep the clip off the end of my 2-inch barbell within easy reach. I attached it to my squat rack so that when swapping weights, I can quickly find a convenient spot for the barbell clip. Printed in PLA, this bracket was then secured to the squat rack with a 5/16 inch bolt. The flat head of the bolt measures half an inch across and is snugly held by the bracket itself. It's clear that two of these brackets are necessary for optimal functionality.
