A model of a BARBECUE TONGS, made of bended- and partially deformed stainless- or subsequently anodized steel wire.Notes:The diameter of the wire is 4 mm.Both components are identical.The design of the rivet is a proposal and one of many other solutions only.To "soften" sharp edges I use radii of 0.15 mm, for getting better results of renderings.The disadvantage: Too many small radii on a part "blows up" the native file size - in this case (.prt.1) - to approx. 264 MB.The "zipped" folder (.7z) of the working directory (PTC Creo Parametric 2.0) has still a size of 38.7 MB.If anyone has an interest, I could upload this folder additional.The model is currently available as a STEP file (.stp) only.
