Catching coffee grounds from a Baratza Encore burr grinder is crucial. Printing at 20-30% infill and layer height of 0.1-0.28 mm is essential, as coarser layer resolution tends to leave more coffee stuck in the tray. To minimize this issue, print the first 2.99 mm at a higher resolution of 0.3 mm and the remaining height at 0.1-0.2 mm. Recent updates have improved the design significantly. The V1 version now extends the catch tray by 20mm, reducing the fillet radius from 8 to 4 mm in the back corners to minimize sill dimensions. Additionally, the dimensions around the grinder have been tightened to ensure the tray fits snugly against the front of the machine. These refinements should enhance the tray's ability to collect coffee grounds effectively.
