"I've long yearned to create this model and now felt empowered to do so. It draws heavily from the original Weta design used in the films, yet diverges significantly to become a simplified version that can be printed (in multiple sections) without supports on an FDM printer, also incorporating lighting solutions for the lava and the eye. I've successfully printed this model in two distinct scales, the smaller one proving more challenging to wire for lights but still achievable, whereas the larger, default size presents a longer print time but yields better results in my opinion."
