In an exciting election, Thingiverse is running an unofficial poll via downloads of these Obama and Romney miniature busts. US voters can bring their favorite candidate into the voting booth, while non-US Thingiverse users' downloads also count. These busts are available at the MakerBot Store in New York City. The designer used Maya and Zbrush 4 R4 to create President Obama's portrait, with a built-in support under the chin for printing stability. Post-printing, twist off the support and use a heat gun to remove any small white spots.
