Bar Holder For Nicot Queen Rearing System

Bar Holder For Nicot Queen Rearing System

thingiverse

I use the Nicot queen rearing system to raise queen bees for my apiary. The cassette holds 110 cups, but it only comes with 10 or 20 bar holders and cup holders for adding cups to the builder colonies. I ordered the cup holders from Brushy Mountain, but everyone was out of stock on the bar holders. Luckily, I have a 3D printer. This is the bar holder only, which is usually brown in color and nails or screws to the wooden frame to hold the cell holders in place while the bees do their work. I printed it in yellow ABS, mainly because it was already in the machine, but PLA should work as well. I have uploaded the cell cup holders separately in a different "Thing". Print Settings: Printer: Home-Built Hypercube Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: .20 Infill: 20% Notes: It's a short span, so I didn't need supports to fill the top in. Depending on your printer, you may need to add supports to get the fill on the top correct.
