Bar End Shifters
thingiverse
The initial blueprint had several inaccuracies that hindered assembly, prompting me to make some minor modifications to ensure a secure fit and optimal functionality. I've been utilizing these levers for nearly 12 months now, and they remain in excellent working condition. To prevent moisture from compromising their performance, I inserted a tap gasket between the lever and body parts. To guarantee smooth operation regardless of weather conditions, it's essential to attach the "body_plug" component securely to the "body" using adhesive, thus preventing unwanted rotation during tightening within the handlebar. Before assembly, make sure to drill out the end of the cable hole for a seamless fit. In a bid to accommodate curved handlebars, I modified the "plug" part with a beveled edge, enabling it to attach securely at the handlebar's tapered end. Special thanks go out to @Fwah for designing the original model.
