I made a new charger for my radio because the old one never worked properly and kept falling apart. I had to constantly fiddle with it just to get a good connection, but that didn't last long since it eventually broke on me. To fix this problem, I came up with a better design. This one keeps the radio securely in place while it's charging, making sure everything stays connected perfectly. I managed to reuse some parts from the old charger, like the base plate, electronics, and screws. That saved me time and money, and it also made it easier for me to get this project done faster. The new design is a direct replacement for the top piece of the old charger, so I didn't have to worry about any compatibility issues. I don't need any extra supports or anything like that to make this work. It's all self-contained and ready to go right out of the box.
