I had a stock baofeng radio which would either shut off or increase the volume on it's own while on the field. I changed it so that now the dial has a protector on the outside and you can only move it by using your thumb. This should allow you to set it up and leave it working.Friction alone should be able to hold everything in place but just in case I used some glue to fix it in place.The PTT cage on the side is this one: https://www.printables.com/model/468823-baofeng-uv-5r-ptt-cage
