This is a custom clip designed to securely hold 5mm wide contacts onto the battery of a handheld two-way radio. Note: The contacts must be quad-A or triple-A sized, as larger AA-sized contacts are too wide to fit onto radio battery terminals. To create a more portable charger for travel, I searched for a USB-to-2S Lithium charger on eBay and built this clip to connect it to the radio. There are two versions of the design: the first is a basic shape that can be modified as needed, and the second has been adapted with wires passing through the back from the contacts, along with a bottom cover to prevent short circuits while charging.
