This is a hollow battery replacement for the UV-5R. I made it so that I can set up a UV-5R with an external power supply for scanning purposes. You just need to put some wires into the indentations and glue them in place, or I used solder blobs. Not ideal, but functional. I may use this template to create a holder for 18650s and CR123As in the future, but we'll see how that goes.
