It's a replacement for the bulky Baofeng UV-5R base. Uses the same components. Fits vehicle cupholders The original carrying clip fits the latch. The "box" needs supports on the "cable window" The "internals" only need "buildplate supports". ASSEMBLY: After opening the original baofeng charging base, you'll find the board held by a single screw and the contacts by one screw each. First you need to place the contact plates (mind the polarity) and ensure that the small "catches" fit on the specially designed opening. Tight the screws. Then slide the board until the holes align and place the final screw. The cable should also have a tight fit.
