I yearned to be able to directly power my Baofeng UV-5R from a power adapter, eliminating the need for a battery altogether. To make it fully operational, I had to incorporate the power adapter into the setup. I easily located an old 7.4V power adapter and then connected the ends after routing the cable through this print. Check out the picture for further clarification.
