This version features integrated housings that accommodate flat metal clips, which can be purchased online as separate battery accessories. The housing also boasts additional reinforcements, allowing users to solder electrical contacts directly onto the outside of the adapter. This design modification enhances the adapter's water resistance by sealing the contact openings. Furthermore, all edges of this adapter are equipped with fillets for added durability. Variant 2: This modified version includes an extra feature: it has 3.5 x 15mm of unobstructed space at the bottom for mounting a diode to prevent reverse polarity damage.
