This carrier is designed to work with or without the Baofeng cage. It is sized for the BL-5L 3800mAh battery that typically comes with the radio. The 3800mAh is the long/extended standard BTECH batteries for the common Baofeng radios. It is also cut appropriately for cabling from the speaker/mic ports.
