I'm not a fan of the massive and unattractive original volume knob either. So, I created one by taking inspiration from the UV-9R Plus model's design, which also boasts a reference notch. For printing purposes, flex or semi-flex filament like TPU is an excellent choice. You can opt to print with 1mm of brim, which will act as a seal and prevent air leaks. I've included a step file in case you need to adjust the internal diameter according to your 3D printer's specifications. Also, I added GT-5TP_vol_knob_V7.stl to help alleviate potential plunger effect issues that might cause the knob to detach after some time of installation. To address this problem, I designed a venting system to release compressed air during insertion, preventing any unwanted separation of the knob from its housing.
