BANTAMOUNT BASE FOR SPEEDDRIVE V1 ==================================== Thanks to Jeff Broderick at https://bantam.design/ for their excellent part cooling system and @sashalex007 for SpeedDrive v1. When designing this, the main priority was to preserve SpeedDrive as it offers great vibration dampening and mass distribution capabilities. INSTALLATION: ======== - You will also need a Bantam fan duct from https://bantam.design/ and a SpeedDrive mount. - Swap the extruder motor with the Y axis motor, which is shorter and has plenty of power to drive the extruder. Otherwise, the shaft of the extruder motor will prevent it from mounting part cooling fans. - Add M5 washers between each sleeve and wheel on the X axis plate (three washers in total) to move the entire carriage assembly away from the Z axis rails. This ensures full X axis movement range is achieved.
