I created a cheaper alternative to the OEM air-blast upgrade from bantam tools, here: https://www.printables.com/model/368546-bantam-desktop-cnc-airblast . As a result, I needed a way to run the airline to the outside of the machine without having to defeat the safety interlock on the front door. I designed this to replace one of the “vents” that are on the upper left and lower right side of the machine. I chose to install this on the upper left vent to prevent any issues with the gantry or bed during their travels. The “port" is 50x4mm threads and uses the existing bantam hardware to mount to the side of the machine. The air-blast insert is designed to fit this through the .25" hole: https://www.mcmaster.com/5233K52/ . The insert can really be tightened by hand, but depending on many factors, you may need a wrench to tighten it. Luckily for you, i designed my own proprietary wrench for such a purpose. The wrench will accept 2 .25" dowel pins by interference fit and those fit into the matching holes on the insert.
