Banned From Vegas - Autonomous Card Sorter

grabcad

Designed and built within 24 hours at MakeHarvard 2020, this autonomous card sorter uses image recognition to identify playing cards by suite and number. It then sorts them by ejecting individual cards around its turning mechanism with precision. I owe a huge debt of gratitude to my talented teammates: Jeremy Kanovsky - the coding genius who brought this robot to life.Teddy Robbins - A CAD expert who has developed a soft spot for Lazy Susans during the competition.Martin Majkut - A wire management expert holding a PhD, also responsible for designing the servo linkage and vertical beams.Eric Wu - The mastermind behind the card dispensing mechanism and CAD assembly.
