BANKSY'S BALLOON GIRL 3D Wall Art of Banksy's Graffiti I took the plain image and transformed it into a 3D masterpiece by extruding the design. I created the iconic balloons that make up this stunning art piece. To maximize its size, I divided the image into three sections, allowing me to use different colors for each part. As a Structural Engineer at heart, I wanted to print the balloons with no support material, taking advantage of the dome effect's unique properties. However, I soon discovered it was more challenging than anticipated! The key to successful printing without supports lies in finding the perfect balance between balloon height and wall thickness. After extensive experimentation, I found a winning combination that produced flawless results: * Resolution: 0.2 mm * Infill: 0% * Bottom/Top Thickness: 0.4 mm * Shell Thickness: 1.6 mm * No Solid Infill at the Bottom I added a single test balloon to validate my settings, and you're free to explore alternative configurations if it works for you!
