I've been searching for a wall hanger that perfectly fits my Banjo for quite some time now. My current one has its pegs positioned on the back of the head, which doesn't sit well with me when using a standard guitar wall holder as it tends to rest on those pegs. I recently tried an Ukulele wall holder and was pleasantly surprised to see that the head fits nicely into the gap between the forks. However, since a Ukulele wall holder is designed for much lighter instruments than my 3.5kg Gretsch, I was concerned about its stability. A sturdy wall console should be able to take on the weight of my instrument. This particular one comes in two versions - standard and filleted - and supports an openback 11" pot. The other option is specifically designed for a Deering Goodtime OB, which features a unique string holder with a screw and nut at the bottom that requires a notch. Keep playing on !
