This tenor banjo, with a short scale length (500mm), is ideal for playing Irish music. To complement my current instrument - which sounds fantastic but has a long scale and is heavy - I plan to construct this one as it would suit my aging fingers better. With access to laser cutting and turret punching equipment, building this banjo will be straightforward.
