Banjo Strap Hooks

I keep a banjo hanging on the wall so I'll have it ready to play whenever I want. However, straps can be a hassle because they get in the way when the instrument is hung up. You really need one to hold the neck up, especially on a lightweight banjo like mine. Problem solved! Inspired by the MyMiniFactory instrument spare parts contest, here are hooks that fit onto the bracket hooks of my Deering Goodtime banjo and allow the strap to be easily added or removed. One thing you should consider is that these hooks are made of plastic, and even a cheap banjo can be pretty expensive. Hanging your banjo on plastic hooks might not work out well for you. Am I using these hooks on my Deering Goodtime, which weighs about two kilograms? Yes! They're great! Would I use them on my beloved walnut Bishline, whose tone ring alone probably weighs more than the Deering? No way!
