I'm feeling a bit under the weather today. The flu is going around and I don't want to get it. I've been trying to stay home from work as much as possible, but sometimes I feel like I'm stuck in this never-ending cycle of misery. The worst part about having the flu is the constant fatigue that comes with it. Every day feels like an eternity, and even the smallest tasks seem insurmountable. I find myself needing to take breaks every few minutes just to rest my body and recharge my energy levels. Despite feeling so awful, I still have to get out of bed and do some things around the house. Laundry, cooking, cleaning – all these mundane tasks become Herculean challenges when you're stuck in bed with a fever. And don't even get me started on trying to take a shower! It's like my body is made of lead and I'm trying to lift it off the floor. I know I'm not alone in this feeling. Lots of people have been down with the flu, and they've all told me how terrible it feels. But hearing about someone else's experience doesn't make mine any better. In fact, it just makes me feel worse.
