BangGod GoPro Hero 8 Mount

This is my mount for a GoPro Hero 8 for the Catalyst Machineworks 5" BangGod Frame. This thing may: Work with the 6" and 7" BangGod frames, although I'm not entirely sure. Work with older GoPros; I've only tested it with an 8. To install the mount, follow the instructions provided in the standard 5" kit from CMW for the rear brace. It's installed on all builds, so just follow their lead. For the front mount, you can use a ~25-28mm length 3mm Standoff and push it through the entire front brace and screw it in, or insert some 3mm nuts and then just ~8mm screws (check out the attached images). I highly recommend using a Standoff for the front as it provides a much firmer fit. The front screws can be used to adjust the angle of the mount. What's probably not ideal: 1. The amount of TPU holding in the mount is limited, so I'd check its health after any hard crash. If either the front or rear brace shows signs of fatigue, I'd reprint it. I might redesign the mount to make the front TPU thicker at some point. 2. Due to the limited space between them, it can take some compression of the TPU to get the rear Standoffs aligned and the screws in place. I really didn't want to make it any thinner (see point 1). * Updated to include just the BangGod Mount portion of the thing as an STL File.
