Bang & Olufsen CX100 / CX50 Grille Frames

Replacement grille frames for vintage Bang & Olufsen CX100 and CX50 speakers. The original grille frames on these speakers are fragile, with many cracking or breaking their spring tabs over time. Made of rigid plastic, the originals require a bit of flexibility to install into the speaker cabinets. These replacement grilles look identical to the originals when covered in cloth, but offer greater durability and ease of use. Unlike the originals, they don't rely on flexible tabs to stay in place - instead, the whole frame flexes slightly during installation and removal. I experimented with designs featuring flexible tabs, but found them less durable than this one, which flexes anyway when installed or removed. This design prints easily without supports. The side openings of the mid/bass driver grilles are omitted to make printing easier (they don't affect acoustics). The inner edges of the back sides have a chamfered fit to help the grilles slip into place between the mid/bass driver bezels and the speaker box.
