These are models for plastic inserts designed to work seamlessly with Banebot combat robot wheels, effectively substituting for the standard aluminum hex shaft mount. They offer seamless compatibility with the existing retaining rings and set screws from the original hex mount kit. The plastic inserts work flawlessly with 0.5-inch retaining rings (such as McMaster 97633A200) and short 6-32 setscrews (like McMaster 92158A158). To ensure optimal results, it is highly recommended to print these models with 100% or very high infill settings. Additionally, slow printing speeds are advised to preserve the intricate details of the teeth. The 30-tooth model versions of these plastic inserts are specifically designed for use with 0.080-inch pitch timing belts (such as McMaster 7887K23). This compatibility makes it incredibly easy to create four-wheel drive systems from just two motors.
