Born on a forsaken island in the Caribbean, Bane grew up without mercy or kindness. As an adult, he was used as a test subject for Venom, a super-steroid that amplified his physical prowess. Having broken free from its brutal grasp, Bane set his sights on Gotham City, intent on making his presence known by defeating the caped crusader, Batman. Although he succeeded in their first encounter, it marked only the beginning of a long and bloody struggle. Since then, Bane has repeatedly sought to expand his power and territory, whether it's Gotham or his native Santa Prisca.
