Bandsaw Zero Clearance Insert
thingiverse
I required a fresh zero-clearance insert for my well-used Craftsman 14-inch bandsaw. Initially, I fashioned one from wood before deciding to create a better version with enhanced dust collection using the printer. The print quality in the photo is rough and will likely become worn during use. Additionally, I've uploaded the Fusion 360 archive, allowing you to customize this design for your own band saw by modifying parameters on the Modify menu. To ensure proper fit, cut out this insert with your bandsaw blade, as there's no pre-cut slot. It's recommended that you print one insert for each of your blades. I printed mine using four shells and 10% infill made from PLA plastic.
