Bandolier of Light
thingiverse
Brighten up your militaristic Halloween costume with an illuminated bandolier made from NinjaFlex 3D printing filament and a strip of glowing NeoPixels. These bullets are sapphires of pure love. A full tutorial is available here: https://learn.adafruit.com/bandolier-of-light To start, edit the design in Autodesk 123D Design at http://www.123dapp.com/project/Bandolier%20of%20Light/2924994. Here are some instructions: First, print the STLs with NinjaFlex flexible filament. This will prevent the need for support material. For optimal results when printing with NinjaFlex, use the following settings in your slicing software: * Retraction is off. * Print speeds of 45 to 50 are ideal. * Extruder temperature should be set at 230c. * Infill percentage should be at least 10%. * Raft and support material must not be used. * The print bed should not be heated. Note that some string artifacts may occur during printing.
