This is a prime opportunity to build a tiny NAS with the Banana PI M1. It has the capacity to hold a 2.5-inch hard drive. I created this design one year ago for a friend who needed a compact storage solution. To assemble it successfully, you'll require a very short and angled SATA connection cable. There are specialized SATA cables available specifically designed for the RPi. If my friend still has some of these cases lying around, I'll take a photo and provide more details about the connectors he used. For now, proceed at your own risk.
