Bambu X1 clog pusher
prusaprinters
Had my first clog on my Bambu X1 and realized it was not an easy task to clear it as is :) Jump into cad 10 min later my Prusa Mk3s saved the day! How to use it:Undo the hot end when cold, you don't want the fan running as it can touch things and break.Beforehand make sure the hot end screws fits in the de-clogger, if not, clean the holes up.it goes without saying that this is best printed in Petg or ABS. PLA is not best around the hot end ;) Slide the piece onto the hot end top and lock in place by sliding the screws in.Now heat up the hot end to a healthy temp like 250c.When it's hot wait an extra 5min for the heat break and the top fins to get to temperature. if that's cold it won't work. Then use the smaller key included with your X1 in the top of the De-clogger and apply pressure holding it like a syringe, mine was quite stuck so it took a good bit but then it went in all the way! Reassemble everything and run a couple load/unload to make sure and clean up the inside. You could even do a cold pull with it still on if you want :) I hope it works for you too, would be nice if Bambulab or someone else was to make this in metal ;)Update: I added more clearance for the wires when mountedUpdate #2: Added new files of the V7, it is a shorter version with more clearances all around and better fit. The shortness helps when using a 1.8mm drill to clear the cold top of the hot end. if you have to choose , print that one! ;)
