A respooling tool for the Bambu spool: https://www.printables.com/model/251457-bambu-lab-reusable-spool-holder-hex-remixInspired on: https://www.printables.com/model/283455-bambulab-spool-winder-for-drill-v2/filesSince I had a lot of spools too wide for the AMS, I wanted some parts to fit my drill to respool them. The original one sided drillbit felt a bit too loose, I redesigned it with smaller gaps between the nooks of the spool. By using 2 ‘holders’, one on each side, the overall stability while spooling is improved. The hex bit that goes inbetween should be printed at 98% for a removable fit. 100% is just too tight. At 97% the holders fall of so that's too loose. The length of the hex bit should still be good enough to comfortable fit a 14mm hex socket. To hold the spool with the drill, you'll need a long socket. Otherwise you're going to need to hold the spool yourself. One of the disadvantages is that the holes for the filament get blocked by the side parts. Depending on the filemant, it just gets pushed aside a bit without much troubles. I'm still looking into a fix for that.I haven't done anything special with the print settings, 2 or 3 walls, 0.3mm layer height worked comfortably enough even with PLA parts.Have fun respooling!
