Bambu Labs X1C Poop Chute
thingiverse
This is a "Poop Chute" designed for the Bambu Labs X1 Carbon with AMS Printer. It is in Kickstarter Campaign now but will be available to the public likely in August 2022. The Printer has a built in Purge Slide that ejects pellets out the back of the printer. This Version 1 Design is for testing purposes by the select few who have actually been Beta Testing the unit. I may continue to edit and refine or might redo it in Autocad if the community wants and finds this useful. Thanks to SirWill3D for the measurements and testing! Updated: Version 4 is cleaner chute and includes a 2mm inset to glue strip magnets into to hold during vibrations or slight movements of the printer. Updated: Version 5 Now reaches all the way to the left side edge of printer! Widened 50mm, Lowered the catch bin 5mm, inset the legs into the bottom side so you can print flat on the bottom without supports. 07/17/2022: Added the OBJ Files for this project by request 07/20/2022: Version 7 Added Vase Mode version to be printed with any slicer. I used the standard .4 nozzle with a line width of .60mm in order to make a stronger wall. I also included cut out lines so you know where to cut using a soldering iron in order to prevent running and breakage along layer lines. You are welcome to use larger nozzles if want. You can magnet mount without legs if your magnets are strong enough, but you can also print the Vase Legs separately in Normal Mode(Non Vase) and glue them on. I use 3D Gloop for PLA. 07-22-2022: Version 8 replaces Version 7 due to the decrease in angle of descent caused by extending the length by request. I increased the angle of descent by another 10 degrees or 3/4" in height increase at the top of the chute. This should reduce or prevent clogs from pelletes gathering at the bottom of chute because of not enough momentum.
