For Jayo cardboard spools to work in the ams. One side has little teeth to bite into the cardboard and should not be used to tighten the adapter in, only screw the other side to pull everything together. The halves are dedicated to one side and cannot be switched, but one is clearly labeled in the print. works great in PetG and probably all the other filaments. you will have to either shave down the cardboard spool on the guide side a bit or use a razor to trim a little bit of the stupid guide nub in the AMS away to clear for the cardboard, unfortunately any bigger adapter keeps the lid open. Everything is designed to snug down just perfect with the Jayo spools. anything with the same hub could work, about 55mm even if the width is different. but it would be better if some spacers were added in that case for the hubs to tighten on. to use the adapter unloader place the poky bits in the poky bit receptacles and then press the hub of the adapter out. using the unloader tool will keep one from breaking the adapter.
